Registered Echo Technician/Sonographer

Location: New York, NY 10016
Job Type: Contract – No Benefits
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift

Schedule Options:

• Tuesday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Pay Rate

Local: $60–$65/Hour, Based on Experience
Travel: $2,400–$2,600/Week, Based on Experience

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Echo Technician/Sonographer required.
• Strong experience performing adult cardiac scans required.
• Completion of an appropriate training program for Ultrasound Technology.
• Experience with diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures.
• Strong clinical, technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-person interview required.

Required Certifications

• BLS – AHA required.
• Must hold one of the following cardiac sonography credentials:
  • RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) issued by ARDMS .
  • RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) issued by CCI .
• RDMS certification is not accepted. Only RDCS or RCS credentials will be considered.

Required Education

• Associate’s Degree required.
• Completion of an appropriate Ultrasound Technologist training program, including qualifying military training.

Preferred Experience

• Stress testing experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must meet all required education, certification, and experience criteria.
• Must be able to successfully complete the required in-person interview.
• Both local and traveler candidates are eligible to apply.
