Hedges & Company is seeking an experienced SEO Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll oversee client SEO campaigns, manage workflow and account performance, and develop technical and content-driven SEO strategies, employing AI-driven tools and technologies to improve efficiency, insights, and performance. Primary Responsibilities Work directly with clients to develop SEO strategies, communicate performance, and provide ongoing consultation and recommendations. Utilize AI-powered tools and workflows to enhance SEO research, content optimization, analysis, and operational efficiency. Evaluate emerging search trends to help clients adapt to changes in search behavior and search engine algorithms. Develop and execute SEO campaigns aligned with client goals and business objectives. Manage content strategy and editorial calendars in collaboration with clients and internal teams. Perform keyword and topic research, particularly within the automotive aftermarket industry. Execute SEO and social media strategies across platforms including WordPress, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Shopify, and others. Prepare and present client reports demonstrating campaign performance, progress, and measurable results. Lead client meetings to review performance and refine strategy. Collaborate with account managers, internal departments, and client vendors to achieve campaign objectives. Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of hands-on experience managing SEO and SEM campaigns and client accounts. Strong understanding of on-page SEO best practices, including metadata optimization, header structure, internal linking, site architecture, and content optimization. Comfortable in a hands-on role that combines strategy, execution, client communication, and team collaboration. Experience with SEO and analytics platforms including Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, and similar tools. Experience using AI tools and platforms to support SEO strategy, content development, workflow efficiency, and search analysis. Strong technical SEO and content SEO expertise, including site audits, crawl analysis, indexing, and search visibility optimization. Proven organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on client relationships and account management. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience or familiarity with the automotive parts and accessories industry is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred. Industry expertise: Work with well-known brands in the automotive aftermarket and powersports industries.
